1. Acquisition, Use, and Provision of Personal Information

JTP will acquire personal information by legal and fair means, clearly defining the purpose of collection, the method and scope of handling, and notifying the individual of the purpose and obtaining their consent. JTP will use and provide personal information within the scope of the purposes for which it was collected and will take steps to ensure that such personal information is used only for the purposes for which it was collected.

2. Compliance with Laws, Regulations, Guidelines, and Other Standards

JTP shall establish and steadily implement a personal information protection management system that complies with the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information,” the JIS standard “JIS Q 15001 Requirements for Personal Information Protection Management Systems,” the “Personal Information Protection Guidelines” of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and other guidelines and norms established by the government. We will steadily implement this system. 
In addition, we will handle specified personal information appropriately in compliance with the “Act on the Use of Personal Information to Identify Specific Individuals in Administrative Procedures,” the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information,” and the “Guidelines for the Appropriate Handling of Specified Personal Information (Employer’s Edition).

3. Security Measures for Personal Information

JTP will establish internal rules and responsibility systems and take reasonable and appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information (including personal information that JTP has obtained or is about to obtain), and will promptly correct and prevent such leakage, loss, or damage when improvement of measures is required. 
In addition, we have established separate “Guidelines for Handling Specified Personal Information” regarding safety measures for specified personal information.

4. Continuous improvements

JTP will continuously improve its personal information protection management system through periodic audits and reviews.

5. Respect to the right of the individual

JTP respects the rights of individuals with respect to their personal information and will comply with the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” and the JIS standard “JIS Q 15001” when requested by the individual to disclose, etc. (notification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, elimination, suspension of provision to third parties, disclosure of records of provision to third parties)

6. Response to Complaints and Consultation

JTP has established a consultation service to respond to complaints and consultations regarding the protection of personal information from customers and other parties related to JTP. Please contact the following “Personal Information Protection Consultation Office”.
